Hi, I'm Amy.
I'm an Ayurvedic practitioner, E-500-RYT & YACEP yoga. and meditation teacher based in my hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska. I came to yoga and Ayurveda shortly after the birth of my daughter in 2000. In 2008, after years of practice (and a little prodding from my friend and co-worker Pam) I started teaching yoga to co-workers twice a week over our lunch hour. I quickly realized that teaching yoga was my true calling.
I received my 200-RYT certification from Inner Power Yoga in 2012 and my 500-RYT certification from Lotus House of Yoga in 2014. I have been teaching public classes at studios in Lincoln, and for local companies and organizations, since 2012. And, I have been a senior teacher at Lotus House of Yoga since it opened in Lincoln in 2013.
In 2016, with much joy, I opened my own home-bases studio and Ayurveda Apothecary - The Road to Om - where I offer private yoga sessions, a variety of seasonally-based workshops, Ayurvedic consultations and treatments, and a limited number of small, student-focused classes.
In addition to my offerings in Lincoln, I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach workshops and yoga teacher trainings at studios in Omaha, NE; Missouri; Iowa; and South Dakota.
I am a wife and mom. My husband Troy and I have been married for 21 years. Our son Aidan is studying to be a theatre teacher at UNL and our daughter Ava is a high school senior and will also be off to college next year.
